You can’t smell the oud at all and the “rose” smells like grass. Not my thing but if you wanna walk around smelling like a freshly mowed lawn then be my guest. Disclaimer: I bought the entire line for this scent and the hand cand cream and deodorant smell great. The body lotion was ok. Dunno why they flopped so hard with the spray

This smells so good. I have never tried Salt & Stone, and decided to try this, and step out my comfort zone, and so happy I did. I am not a big rose person but so badly wanted a rose scent that works for me. This smells alluring to me it's dark yet fresh but mysterious as well. When walking around you get the black rose it comes off kinda sweet then up close i smell a woodiness. This smells like me as a rose scent it givesoff I'm standoffish but sweet yet mysterious. This to me could be worn daily year round. I don't think it's to heavy for spring/summer but I do think in fall/winter this will be even better. This sent won't be for everyone, but I'm so happy I decided to try this and find my perfect rose scent.

Don’t buy this fragrance its smell too woody and almost make you stink, nothing floral just straight up smell like smoke

This mist smells so good! It is a shame that it does not last at all. I spray this on (generously) a couple times a day, so this bottle not going to last a long time, unfortunately. The mist component is lovely- it gives a very fine mist and not heavy droplets. I really wish this lasted longer. I paired it with the body wash, body lotion, AND deodorant of the same scent and the smell still doesn't last :(

Looooove this scent. This is like the cool girl fragrance. Woody but sweet. Deducted w star bc it’s not a long staying scent.

Almost purchased this but the initial smell is very overpowering so I put it back. A few minutes later, I could still smell it on my skin but it had dried down and left a beautiful scent. A little spray goes a long way!

This is my most favorite scent from Salt and Stone! I have every product that they make in this scent. To be honest, I don’t love any of the other ones they have but this one is so great and I get so many compliments whenever I wear it! I wish they made a shampoo and conditioner! 

Obsessed with this scent. It lasts pretty well. Be careful though bc if you spray too much hoping more will last longer it can be overpowering. I wish they sold smaller bottles because id want to take this in my bag with me and when i travel!

I purchased this blind after being inundated with videos on TikTok and Instagram telling me I was going to have marriage proposals falling into my lap just based on the smell trail I left when wearing this. I was excited, until I smelled it. A heavily woodsy, vaguely familiar scent which after googling, I realized is exactly what Oud is....wood. Point taken. It's supposed to smell like this. I continued to use it, because at 48 years old with zero sense of what's on trend I figured if all the influencers liked it I liked it too. Maybe I was nose blind. One day I picked up a friend, 10 years younger than me and a lover of all things make up and scent, as she got in my car she started to aggressively sniff, "what's that smell?". She then proceeds to tell me she smelt hamster shavings..... as she leans in, she exclaims "it's you, you smell like a hamster cage". She was right, that was the vaguely familiar scent i couldn't quite pinpoint. I gave it two stars because I actually like the smell of wood shavings of the hamster cage variety but wouldn't purchase again. Also the smell did not have longevity, so maybe that's a good thing ?
