Disappointing blind-buy
I did a blind buy of this because so many recommended it and I was SO disappointed.
Let's start with the bottle: the magnetic lid-AMAZING! The label super chic!
Before spraying it on myself, I sprayed it on some paper just to see how it was. Initially you are rushed with a strong bourbon smell that smells too synthetic and the dry down is then the warmth of the vanilla. I gave it a go on my skin spraying it on my inner arm.
This scent overall is nauseating. I expected a sensual, elegant gourmand that would be almost good enough to eat! Instead I got a plastic-like cheap smelling perfume that I couldn't wait to return.
The scent did have great longevity lasting the entire latter half of the day I tried to make it work.
Don't be fooled by the YSL brand and cute name. You're better off saving your money and getting something more worth your while.

Would give more than 5* if could!
Bought this in Macy’s since they had some great sale going on and this has quickly become one of my favorite perfumes! It’s long lasting (finally an expensive perfume which actually lasts!!) and if you’re thinking about getting it, I can’t recommend this enough!!

Cavity in a perfume bottle
Oh dear lord, this is SWEET!!! Like, knock you over the head, bathed in syrup sweet. I smelled this years ago when I was more into gourmands, and passed on it then; now, it’s a definite absolutely NOT! Other niche brands do this kind of thing in a far more elegant way, but if you want to smell like rum syrup, you should definitely give it a go. I’m amused that people think this is masculine, when to me, it leans way more feminine; my husband hates it. The fragrance has staying power and sillage, though, I’ll give it that. If you do like it, PLEASE, for the love of all things good and holy, only wear this in cold weather and go lightly for the rest of us!!!
