As someone in my mid 30s, retinol has been a total game changer for me. This one from Strivectin that I have been using for the last month has done wonders! My skin looks so full and bright. The dullness is going away and I am slowly gaining back my youth. I can tell my skin tone is evening out. I love how it dispenses the right amount and it absorbs so beautifully into my skin. I use this in conjunction with their peptide plump collagen cushion cream from my night routine and it is the best duo.
The price tag is a little heavy, coming in at almost $100 for an ounce. But it really does work wonders.

I actually like it
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I love this retinol product, mostly.
Okay, the good: it rubs in nicely, it actually helped balance my skin. Though, user error, stay away from the sun or wear lots of sunscreen- next time I will start it in the winter and let my skin get used to it before summertime fun.
The not bad but not great: it is highly fragranced. Since I use it at bedtime, I just smell the scent while I fall asleep and its annoying. I dont mind products with fragrance, however this is Strong!
The other bad, each first pump has a clog. It is annoying but not the end of the world, just a small design flaw. You can see in my review photo the clogged piece I am talking about.
Overall, I really like this and will use it until it runs out, and I will probably be sad when its gone.

Good but expensive
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This retinol serum uses hydrating peptides and StiVectin’s patented form of niacin to strengthen the skin barrier, aid absorption, and reduce sensitivities. Usually retinols are can be pretty drying and can cause irritation, but these ingredients will help prevent that.
I’ve been using retinol for years now, so it’s difficult to fully judge the results until I’ve used it for several months since retinol takes 3 months for full effect. However, my skin has been noticeably bright and smooth in the meantime.
I really like the airless pump style packaging. It is also in an opaque bottle which helps the retinol stay fresh. I use 1-1.5 pumps for my neck and face so it spreads well and doesn’t require a ton of product. It has a thick creamy consistency so I usually apply it after my more watery serums and before moisturizer. It does contain fragrance but it’s pretty light,
This is quite expensive for a retinol product. I don’t think everyone needs this specific one because there are a lot of really good affordable options, but this would be a good option for someone who wants a gentler option.

Effective retinol without drying
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I’m so impressed with this retinol product! I only need one pump of product to cover my entire face and neck. It absorbs quickly and I didn’t have any dryness or irritation afterwards. I like that it contains extra ingredients like ashwagandha that targets the fine lines on my face.
