I purchased this eye cream for the first time and it gave me a light burning sensation immediately after applying. I thought maybe my skin was just not used to it, so I tried it for a second night and again had the burning sensation. The next day my eyes felt very irritated. I came to look at reviews and saw several recent reviews complaining of a burning sensation. My eyes went back to normal after I stopped using this product. Will definitely return and hopefully they investigate what is going on!

I had terrible burns and stinging around my eyes after using. I thought I needed to see an eye doctor. I stopped using and it went away after a couple of weeks. I have NEVER had a reaction like this to any eye cream or face cream. Some fragrances or sunscreen additives sting or make my eyes water, but I have NEVER had a product burn the skin around my eyes. I experienced this with BOTH advanced Night Repair eye products! Something is wrong in these formulations that it can physically burn skin as you sleep!

This product needs examined and tested by the company for consideration of recall. I used this product 3 or 4 times and now have burns and puffiness around my eyes. I also have a burst blood vessel in the white part of my eye. I am so frustrated to read that several other people have had this same experience very recently. Something is wrong with this product and it needs handled by the company. My product came from the Holiday collection gift.

I have been a representative for Estée Lauder in the past at multiple locations, for 6+years. It is one of my favorite brands up until now. They have altered this formula, or, are distributing a bad batch KNOWINGLY. There are many people in the reviews with the same CHEMICAL BURNS on their eyes as I received from this 75$ product. Absolutely unacceptable. The way they handled this as well, just throwing me a refund and then ignoring any inquiry to their plans going forward is a disgraceful response to causing women PAIN, suffering, and a rash they have to deal with on their face for months. I received a chemical burn on my eyes from this cream that took 2 months to clear up, and that is with a prescription from a doctor. I am truly shocked that they have not addressed this or pulled the product for investigation. The Estée I used to know? That would have been their immediate response to multiple women getting PAINFUL BURNS, that do not heal for weeks going on months. I would not recommend this product, and as a past sales rep I would not recommend Estée Lauder PERIOD until they handle this professionally vs. sweeping it under the rug. DO NOT BUY. They do not care that they're burning the eyes and faces of paying customers.

This eye gel is wonderful! It feels like satin on your skin and is long lasting. A little goes a very long way! I would recommend 10 out of 10. There aren't enough good things to say about this product.

I love the Estée Lauder product line and has used for over ten years. This is the first time that I've had a bad experience. This supercharged eye gel burned the skin on and around my eyes as well as produced swelling. I will not use any other such products from Estée Lauder and just stick to their cleaners and moisturizers. I just noticed that many others have reported a similar experience.

I have never had a bad experience with Estée Lauder until I used this. I experienced burning and brushed it off as my skin being sensitive. However later the skin under my eyes started itching and burning. Later that day my eye area was puffy with welts. I woke up with even more puffiness, irritation, and discoloration it feels like a burn and very dry,

Just like a lip balm makes your lips feel soft and supple, this "gel" soaks into my eye area skin and leaves it feeling moisturized, not greasy/oily. It's still very lightweight. After just 2 weeks I can see fewer lines, less puffiness and bags. A little goes a very long way. I will absolutely buy again.
