Great addition for Acne Prone Skin

I received this product as a sample pack from my Med Spa. I had HUGE cystic acne on my temples and developing on my cheeks. I have used this product for the past 2 nights morning and night. The huge acne on my temples have significantly reduced in size and the ones that were forming on my cheeks are mostly gone. I dont have dryness or flakiness on my skin. I do love the way my skin looks! I just purchased the full size to continue to use it to get rid of my acne. I'm in love so far!

Not worth it, breaks you out!

Did nothing for me and maybe even broke me out. I just like the packaging and that when you put it on it seems it’ll be sticky but it isn’t. But I started breaking out and when I stopped using it I stopped!

Replaced my benzoyl peroxide cream

Loveeee this one even better than the original formula! When I talked to the Phyla customer team they said I could still order the original formula but i saw such great results with this black bottle there was no need. Its great at keeping my acne at bay, i got to discontinue my benzoyl peroxide cleanser that was bleaching my towels and made my skin sooo dry. Pair with the cleanser this product is fabbb.

Patience paid off!!

I recently added Phyla to my daily routine and I honestly am reallyyyy liking it. At first I thought I may have been breaking out a little more BUT once I got through the first couple weeks my skin was so much clearer. Even during my cycle, there has been way less flare ups. If you are thinking about trying I definitely recommend using for the full 2 months to see the difference. I reached out to the company and they said it takes time to add the good bacteria back to your skin and I feel like I can see that in my case.

Nice gel texture but basically useless

I was excited to try this new approach to acne. Unfortunately, this serum didn’t do anything for my hormonal acne. I used it on its own and with my other products. I didn’t buy the full Phyla system.

Where has it been all my life?

I read an article about this product and it just made sense- the good bacteria eat the bad! After a week or so of my skin purging, it has cleared anything from coming up and my skin looks great- no more hormonal acne or zits from sweat and dirt at work. Not for my acne

This did not work for me. After a “purge” phase about 3.5-weeks into daily use where my acne got worse, I never saw it improve. I’m an adult with hormonal, cystic acne.

Severe adverse reaction

I really really wanted this product to work. Instead, it caused some kinda reaction on my skin- leading to horrible itchy painful ugly rash like dermatitis on my cheeks, chin and jawline. I had to spend hundreds of dollars on dermatologists and prescriptions to mitigate what happened to my skin...I am typing this on my birthday at home alone crying because my skin is so horrible and itchy. I have never had a reaction like to a product and I have never considered my skin sensitive before.

Bring back the better version please!

The old version of this serum worked so well. The new version is noticeably less potent and there seems to be a lot less of it as I ran out of my last bottle of serum twice as quickly as I used to. I guess I am going to keep using it for now for lack of a better alternative but I am not pleased with the changes at all.
