I bought the Abeille Royale fortifying lotion, serum, and watery oil and this about six months ago. The latter two caused slight breakouts for me, which is not common for my skin. The Repair Balms was by far the best product and the only one I will rebuy. I am 38 and have combination skin, but the dry parts can be very dry. It is a heavy product, which I personally prefer at night when I am very dry. The hydration and plumping are unappalled. Compared to other creams in this price point, like La Mer, this is the best. It will also last forever, I use a liberal amount on my face, neck, and décolletage about 2-3 times a week. I have had it for about six months and have half of the product still left.

An excellent way to waste cash

This is one of my favourite “experience” products (i.e. I like it for the pleasant experience, not because it’s a particularly effective product at improving any skin issues I have). If I were looking to spend money in a way that maximizes benefit, I would not buy this. BUT it’s so luxurious to use and my skin loves it. I didn’t notice any improvements in lines, discolouration, etc. after about 5 months of nightly use, but I did notice that my skin looked well hydrated, even textured and glowy. I have pretty sensitive skin and despite being 3 years into using tretinoin, it still causes flakiness for me at least a couple times a month. I notice that this flakiness is dramatically reduced (non-existent for months) when I use the Abeille Royale oil in balm. But this would also be achievable with a drug store balm or facial oil for 90% less money. This one just has outstanding physical properties that make it a treat to apply. I do however really wish they sold a 40ml or 50ml version though. It still would never be a core product in my routine for me because it’s just too unjustifiably expensive, but even when I'm just looking to splurge, $325 ($285 + tax) is just too much for me to stomach, even for 80ml. So I probably won’t ever buy this again, but I do love it and will fill my pockets with samples if I ever get the chance.

Not super worth the price tag

Im heading into my 30s so I wanted to splurge on more high end products to keep any fine lines at bay. Unfortunately with this product (so far since the purchase) it hasn’t been working as well as I’d hope. I havent seen too much of an improvement on any fine lines I’ve developed which would’ve still been fine with me if this balm was moisturizing enough. It has a weird greasy feel when you put it on your face and it sort of sits there. Giving it 3 stars because Im not done the entire jar (maybe it’ll be better with more time), I like the smell of the balm and the jar looks beautiful.

Suggested Usage:
