Works well for my lip pencils. The lid that keeps the shavings in isn’t very secure, though. It’s annoying because I have to be near a trash can every time I use it to empty, otherwise the shavings will wind up all over my purse.

I thought sharpeners were sharpeners until I tried to sharpen a lip pencil that has a harder coating on the outside. The ABH could not get the job done!! Luckily my other sharpener from a competitor could and I tossed the ABH.
